I love myself like Kanye loves Kanye. Hahaha. The other day I was talking to someone who said I love myself and I do. Every flaw, every insecurity. Every thing from my loud and wacky laugh to my Afro hair and lack of eyebrows and my fashion sense which I tell you at times isn’t the best haha. I love myself and I always will.

I understand that not everybody is going to love you but you need to love you,  the most important thing in life is understanding that love you have for yourself no person can love you like you can. I understood that a long time ago. Yeah I have my flaws but they are mine and mine alone. I have never needed anyone to validate that love I have or just undermine my love for life. I have experienced enough headache and i purely have no time for it.

I have always put that kind of shit out of my mind and I have always operated a zone that only has positive vibes and positive energy. Little by little, I think everything always works out for the best.

Yeah I love myself but if I don’t who will. Nobody can love me like me. Yeah I said it. Everyone needs to find that recognise it. Yeah I have bad points but I don’t let that get me down, the good outweighs the bad. Let me think about it. I’m confident, lover of laughter, beautiful and a badass as someone pointed out and a lot more great stuff I’m not going to put down. I think I have made my point.

The title of this post is inspired by Maya Angelou. Like everything I do in life is inspired by her and many other great black women across the board. She inspired me to love me as me and not try and be anything other then myself. Really it’s a self assessment of your character and personality.
