In just  68 seconds, FlyLo and Kendrick’s “Eyes Above” delivers a short burst of the TDE emcee’s aggressive flow over a free-flowing production. In his verse Kendrick addresses having his style taken  by other rappers and then watching them fall short because he never lets them see the methods he uses to push all his hits.  The Compton representative also makes reference to police shootings fueling a war that brings out the “Jurassic” side in people.
