On April 19th 1994, Nas released his debut album and who would have thought 20 years on the man would still be making music to this day. Nas is one of hip-hop top lyricist taking hip-hop back to its roots. along Tupac and Biggie he has got to be one of my favourite artist of all time. when he came to London last year for wireless festival he performed his Life Is Good album which i loved but i was waiting for Illmatic to come. My wish has come and the man will be making an appearance in London at Lovebox at Victoria Park and trust me when i say i will be looking to get tickets.For me Life’s A Bitch has got to be one of my favourite songs on the album along N.Y. State of Mind and The World Is Yours. 
Illmatic has best producers on the album DJ Premier, Large Professor, Pete Rock and Q-Tip, its really amazing on how many produces can come together and help a young Nas make such an iconic albumyou can really here the production of the album which makes it one of the best albums on my list, many others will always debate on who goes on the list.
